Rev Nico Weeber has been invited to preach at St Andrew’s Scots Kirk as sole nominee for the position of Minister at our Church. The plan is that he will preach on Sunday 5th December and those members present at Church on that day will be able to vote as whether to accept him as their future Minister.

Wedding Booking

St Andrew’s is a dignified and beautiful place for weddings, and we are happy to help people of many backgrounds make marriage vows before God.

Previous church affiliations and marital experiences need not be a boundary to getting married at St Andrew’s. What will be required is a letter of ‘no objection’ from your present minister, pastor or priest. We are more interested in a sincere desire now to celebrate your love and commitment within our sanctuary.

We prefer where possible that your own priest, pastor or minister officiates at your wedding. A link to Guidelines for visiting Ministers can be found on the left.

We highly recommend you read through all the links on the left carefully before proceeding. All the forms will open in a new window and will require Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Should you wish to speak with us we will be happy to assist you with any information with regards to your Wedding.

In all matters regarding weddings at St Andrew’s Scots Kirk, the Kirk Session (i.e. the managing Elders) retain the final authority.

Wedding Music

Music creates atmosphere and gives the congregation the opportunity to participate and feel included. You will need to hire musicians and vocal soloists to perform; we can provide some suggestions if asked. The church organ is available for use, and there are electronic connections as well for other instruments.

Please download the following files and forms for more information.

Concert Booking

St. Andrew’s holds a number of concerts throughout the year as well as playing host to concerts by various visiting choirs, soloists and instrumentalists. With its superb acoustics, this beautiful early 20th century building has become a favourite venue for musicians and audiences alike.
